The Australian Malaysian Film Festival commenced in 2007 with the aim of strengthening regional collaboration and facilitating cross-cultural collaboration.  Through this film and arts festival, many Australian’s and Malaysian’s have come together to enjoy the “Australian Malaysian Film Festival” and also to discuss possible business and arts projects.

A2K MediaThe creators and directors of A2K Media are Ade Djajamihardja and Kate Stephens.

With a strong background in film and television at an international level with experience in just about every type of program format, A2K Media has grown to initiate and collaborate in media production with both the local and overseas markets. A2K Media also works closely with Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore and promotes the distribution of regional films within Australia.

A2K Media created and produced the Australian Malaysian Film Festival and is very pleased to have Farah Al Amin as this year’s Project Manager for the event. Farah is a Malaysian national, a recent graduate of Monash University’s Masters course in Film and Television, and is now part of the A2K Media team.
